FMO4 / FMO6
SUBMERSIBLE WELL MOTORS
The FMO4-FMO6 series submersible motors are asynchronous type, 2-pole with squirrel-cage rotor, oil-filled and rewindable.
They are very robust and oversized in design, in order to withstand heavy-duty loads and ensure long service life even at great immersion depths.
The power cables are equipped with a plug-in connector to ensure that the internal cooling liquid, although non-toxic and food-grade (FDA approved), cannot rise by capillary action along the cable line.
A robust mechanical seal ensures long motor life even in the presence of sand.
The rotor shaft extension is made of AISI 304 stainless steel up to 3 HP; for higher power ratings it is made of DUPLEX stainless steel. An oversized compensation diaphragm allows the internal cooling liquid to compensate for volume variations caused by temperature changes.
