Submersible Well Motors

The FME6 – FME8 – FME10 series submersible motors are asynchronous type, 2- or 4-pole, with squirrel-cage rotor.

The stators are rewindable with PBN or PE2+PA wire. The motors are very robust and oversized in design, in order to withstand heavy-duty loads and ensure long service life. Graphite radial bearings and the axial Mitchell type bearing, lubricated by the water inside the motor, allow long operating periods without any maintenance. The SiC/SiC mechanical seal, installed as standard on the motor shaft, provides high resistance in the presence of sand. The stator flanges and the rotor shaft extension are made of AISI 304 stainless steel to ensure good corrosion resistance even under difficult conditions and installations with plastic piping.

Fully stainless steel versions are also available.
