FCB
NETWORK INVERTER FOR SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS
The FCB INV inverter series has been specifically developed for the control of submersible electric pumps. One model has a single-phase current input, while the others have a three-phase 400V input, and they respectively control single-phase or three-phase 230V electric pumps, or three-phase 400V electric pumps.
The inverters are designed for wall mounting or installation on a tubular structure, and air cooling is ensured by large anodized aluminium heat sinks with servo fans, allowing use at ambient temperatures of up to 50°C.
Their operation is very simple: the main function is to start the pump and vary its speed. The standard installation uses a transducer to operate the system at constant pressure or constant flow rate. However, it is also possible NOT to install the transducer and to manually set the pump frequency in order to limit performance and consumption when full power is not required, thereby saving energy.
Dry-running control is ensured both by cosphi and by the adjustable minimum flow function. In the event of shutdown or lockout, the system resets automatically.
