FME8 series submersible motors are asynchronous type, 2 or 4 poles, with squirrel cage rotor.
The winded stators are rewindable with PE2 + PA wire or others on demand. The motors are very sturdy and oversized to withstand heavy loads and last a long time. The carbon radial bearing and the thrust bearing Mitchell type, are lubricated by the water inside motor and allow a long period of operation without any maintenance. A mechanical seal SIC/SIC, mounted on motor shaft as standard, gives a particular resistance in presence of sand.
The stator flanges and rotor shaft end are made of SS304 to ensure good corrosion resistance even in heavy duty application and even in installations with plastic piping.
